The Federal Government says it has deployed epidemiologists and vaccines to arrest the outbreak of a new a strain of Cerebro Spinal Meningitis (CSM) in parts of the country.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced a full waiver on accumulated penalties and interests for outstanding tax liabilities until December 31, 2023. The FIRS chairman, Zacch Adedeji, made this known in a statement on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media, Dare Adekanmbi.
Adedeji said the decision was to alleviate the burden on taxpayers and businesses and to promote compliance with tax laws.
